Thumbs up for Boo and type 1 diabetes

My 3yo daughter’s Boo arrived last night and let’s just say she’s obsessed. My daughter lives with type 1 diabetes so the inclusion of a T1D badge and insulin pump is so appreciated in our household. Representation is so important and I love that my daughter has a toy that she can relate to, but also can use it as a tool to convey her feelings and emotions (which can be difficult to do at this age!). I think Boo is a valuable tool for all children to help open up the conversation about feelings and even more so for kids living with a condition like T1D!

Absolutely love everything about this!

My Type 1 Diabetic son was lucky enough to be gifted a Buddy Boo and it had (and continues to have) such a positive impact on him. He no longer feels alone in his journey and he is able to use the emotion badges to help express how he is feeling. He has proudly taken his Boo to Diabetes Camp and sleeps with him every night.
